Jamaica Blue

 photo DSC04724_zps694d35da.jpg photo DSC04726_zpsb0e835ec.jpg

While waiting for the food...... I started my shameless selfie time while GJ took some candid shots of me which turned out quite well apparently (damn rare seriously)!!

Scrambled eggs & toast with additional bacon and sauteed mushroom ($14.90) for myself but mehhhhh it was rather disappointing. The eggs were too buttery for my liking and bacon was too oily.

Mushroom eggs benedict ($13.90) for GJ which he felt that it can be a miss too but I was wondering why the hell did he order mushroom instead of bacon/ham?!

Anyway jamaica blue is probably well-known for coffee and I pretty like their latte so it wasn't that bad afterall.

And I wondered again, why does he love looking like a retard almost all the times? The answer will never be figured out.

Well, June is coming to an end which means half a year has gone just like that. I'm certainly hoping the latter will be better than the first. Goodbye June x.

Me, lately

Yes, it has been sometime again since I last updated so today I'll be sharing about me as you can see from my title, to be more precise, about my thoughts and feelings towards everything that I'm facing in life right now.

As you guys do know, I've been working in RE for a few months already and this month is also my first official month of being a perm staff which I've mixed feelings for. Pro is I get extra incentives but con is I have to do cold calling and get clients which I really detest. Man, I swear not easy at all okay. At times, it will get to me to think if this is what I really want to do at the end of the day. There's no answer to that, for now still.

Next, about my piano. It's also not as simple as you think like oh you're at a high grade means you can play goddamn well. I registered for my practical grade 7 exams this coming august/september but I'm not even 50% ready for it. That itself has already drained me out a lot recently.

Last but not least, I just read an article about ''how to listen to yourself" (click link for full article) and it really got into me.

"Objectively, most of the problems that I made for myself in my life came from my inability to follow my own instincts — to even understand what my instincts were telling me. I knew that I was an intuitive person, but for some reason, I couldn’t make heads or tails of what was “meant for me,” and yes, I do realize how contradictory that is."

This. This is just so me. And this is what I feel almost everytime. I know I need to start learning how to listen to myself and trust my own heart and mind but sometimes it's easier said than done.

Bangkok 2014 (Part IV)

Hello folks, I've finally come down to the last part of this six days trip. Honestly, this is probably the first trip which I didn't take much pictures as I didn't really bother to since it's my 4th consecutive year that I visited bkk.

But still, I've to share some awesome cafes and restaurants I visited!

Roast was full house when we reached and had to wait for about 30 mins.

Drinks were being served pretty swiftly after we ordered!!

Snapped some visuals while waiting for the food :>

Pardon me again for not taking much food pictures over here as we were all famished by the time food came. I've to mention that the crab cake benedict which I had was fabulous (though rider's serves better ones) and I didn't get to try others so I won't comment but I'm pretty sure they enjoyed the meal as well.

On the same exact day, we headed over to central world in the evening for desserts. I've always wanted to try since last year but couldn't find it at siam paragon so it's a must to have it this time.

Their signature shibuya honey toast was surprisingly awesome! I mean it's a highly raved dessert here and I didn't want to have high expectation to prevent disappointment but woah really, so good that the guys bought a second one on the same day, just imagine that?! For a guy like GJ who doesn't fancy sweet stuffs.

We also ordered the ferrero honey toast which was pretty nice as well but definitely not as awesome as the shibuya.

After You has several branches, so you probably can check it out at central world and siam paragon which are more convenient to get to!

This is the last one I'm gonna share for this trip.

This is one damn secluded place which we took damn long to find! We even walked into someone's house and almost got caught because we turned into the wrong alley. The worse part of that day was I had stomachache in the morning and was feeling extremely weak since I didn't have any food the entire morning till this.

As I've mentioned, my stomach was uneasy so I ordered their homemade muesli with fruits and nuts and I swear, it tasted like heaven!

And yes, they love their meals too!

This is one exquisite cafe in bangkok that you won't get to see in singapore because they actually grow some of the food ingredients and not purchasing from outside. However, there's a price to pay for this definitely which is to find out the right path to get there.

Bangkok 2014 (Part III)

Not sure if you're guessing where this is, and yes how can you miss their chatuchak weekend market. Some people dislike going there as it's crazily hot but stuffs there are cheaper than any shopping places at town.

What I like most is their coconut ice-cream which I didn't take a picture using my dslr ):

We headed to the ninth cafe at chit lom area for dinner after a long shopping day at chatuchak and union mall. We had authentic thai food at last, from basil chicken rice to green curry to tom yum and pad thai!

Food was relatively good at this branch. Service and ambience were the thumbs up ones!

And this strawberry mille crepe is what my sis loves most at ninth cafe but I still think audrey's nicer!

22nd

Hello folks, it's sunday and I just got back from rohi's wedding not long ago but I'm not gonna update about that right now. As you can see from my title, yes I'm updating about my 22nd this year which was two weeks ago.

It's weird how I always have mixed feelings for birthday every single year because I'm afraid not much people will actually remember my birthday or pay attention to it but I also look forward to it because I know I've this clique of awesome girlfriends who never fail to surprise us (me and my best friend) every year.

Alright, shall start with what GJ did for me this year first.

He surprised me with laduree macarons yay I love macarons like really a lot, not just macarons but any kinds of sweet tooth stuffs! Didn't expect that he will actually get this for me hehe.

Next, he brought me to this place called cheezz studio. If you're wondering what is it, it's actually a self controlled studio for photoshoot. What I love about it most is that they provide us with a lot of props as well as nobody watches us when we take pictures except us luh of course.

2/199 pictures taken there.

They will burn the pictures into a disc for you which will be ready in approximately two hours time on the same day. However if you're in a rush, they will mail it for you the next day for free!

Check out here if you'd like to know more :>

Dinner was settled at elements, amara hotel. The variety wasn't as much as I've expected it to be but food was really great! Didn't take much pictures because I was busy eating like a glutton and had a lot of crayfish and alaskan king crabs.

And yay, I finally received my (belated) birthday present from him today! Never a watch person, but I really love DW watch thanks love though it was a belated one but it's the thought that counts still. I know DW is common but who cares, I really love it and also thanks wanting for the 10% discount! :D

Second part of my birthday celebration with the clique of awesome girlfriends which I've mentioned earlier on. Not forgetting huazhong as well who took out time to meet us for dinner.

Dinner was very mediocre and they don't have much choices, quite disappointing actually. However, it's alright when you've the right company to have dinner with.

This picture is way too cute! Just look at how huimin is poking evelyn hahaha (damn I wish there's a lol emoticon here like whatsapp).

Birthday cake from the girls and huazhong for evelyn and I <3

Huimin commented that evelyn is really praying very hard for her wishes to come true hmmm.

This is my best friend whom I known for almost ten years whose birthday is five days apart from mine and we get to celebrate together every single year <3

So do you like your leopard printz undie? Winks (;

Mandatory group shot each time we meet up, thank you for being such a bunch of wonderful friends. I really can't imagine life without you people, really. I love y'all so so much <3
