Thurs-date // Drury Lane + Fluffy Dessert

Hi gais, I finally managed to squeeze out some 'me' time to update this space. So, I met my poly girlfriends for our agreed monthly affair dinner on thursday at drury lane. I've been wanting to visit this so much due to its nett price (typical singaporeans because gst + service charges are way too incorrigible), also they serve all day breakfasts!! 

Daph went for the chicken sandwich, angeline with eggs benny while agnes and I chose their big 94. The honey cured bacon was exceptionally good, sweet instead of the usual salty. The only thing that I didn't quite like was the sausage, too bland for my liking.

Settled for some snow ice at fluffy dessert about a minute walk away from drury lane. And I can assure you, it's definitely worth the walk. This is one of the best snow ice I've ever tried, even better than those at Ji De Chi! I love the bursting jelly balls(?) and all of us can't get enough of them. Also, the durian one's really good and this is coming from someone who doesn't fancy durian at all.

Hello February

Hello folks, how are y'all? Pardon me for the lack of updates recently due to festive season and the start of a new full time career.

Cny was no longer as exciting as the past, besides dolling myself up with a new outfit (snap some pictures to instagram), visiting (getting interrogated by adults and entertaining their questions, not all but some) and snacking. Day 1 and 2 were totally mundane and I could finally feel at ease when GJ and my siblings' friends came over to my crib on the 3rd. Nothing beats a simple celebration at somewhere with people you can feel comfortable with. Will do a visual post about cny soon!

Yes and if you're wondering, I've taken up a new full time job as a HR coordinator now temporary for 12 weeks which then I will decide whether I wanna convert to perm or otherwise. Achievement unlocked for having self discipline to wake up early and punctual for work for consecutive 5 days (except one day being a muddlehead and left my wallet at home)! If you're wondering again, this is counted as my first full time job, office hours, monday to friday.

Now that the weekends is here, shall prep myself for piano lesson later, meeting GJ and his friends tonight and some 'me' time + baking tomorrow yay :>

Gala Premiere: Huat Ah! Huat Ah! Huat!

Ah Huat reflects a simple Malaysian Chinese man who treats everyone with kindness and sincerity."

Million thanks to GJ's friend, william, for giving us two tickets to the gala premiere of this new movie! Though it wasn't something as grand as I thought, I managed to meet ah niu and joyce cheng in real life and how they actually hyped themselves up with the crowd. Anyway, this film is worth watching so bring along your friends and family to catch it! (:
