Monochrome

I'd like to try living in a monochrome world, for colours may not be as vibrant as they seem to be.

Dreamer

I thought I should probably do a reality check on the current life. A week of school lessons had passed in a blink of an eye and I didn't quite like some of the classes as I thought I'd. Like sociology and hrm, they are so theory-based and worse off, I had no friends to start off with in those lectures and till now, I only made a friend in soci lecture and still alone in hrm. I don't mind being alone but you see, there won't be any motivation to stay awake for three torturing hours.

In a few minutes time, it will be tuesday blues. Let me tell you the reason why I abhor tuesday so much and that's because I chose two lectures from 8.30 to 3 and have piano lesson from 5.30 to 8! Call me foolish but this would be the efficient and that I can save a lot of time on traveling around.

Shall end this with a quote which I really like, "keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

Taiwan day six

After spending a calm night at sato castle, sissy and I were back at the ever crowded ximending. While waiting to check into our hotel, we roamed around the streets and had our late lunch.

Show luo's store, stage!

A ginormous portion of dessert which costs only 100 twd = about 4 sgd!

Yummy snacks which cost us 250 twd = about 10 sgd, not that affordable though.

Sis ransacking the rails for clothes

Cosy room at inhouse hotel for the last two nights

Met my cousin after checking in the hotel and headed to shida night market. Before we started the awesome retail therapy session, my cousin brought us to this shop which sells attractive and delicious bread, cakes, mochis and etc and that was how the food hunt started.

The queue is getting longer for......

Pineapple bun, po lo bao but it isn't filled with pineapple but custard and butter! Definitely the best I've ever tried and one wasn't enough for sissy and I to share.

炸鸡排 again!

Next location was ice monster which is located at sun yat sen memorial hall station, another place with long queue and check out my cousin and his girl-friend at the right queuing up for us!

Mango snow ice with fresh mango and tau huey!! Thumbs up (Y)

Magnificent night scenery at the back hill of yangmingshan!

Heavenly fried bun with condensed milk, actually I'm not too sure if it's called fried bun but omg they are so tasty!

I really have to thank my cousin for bringing us around for food hunt, now you know why it's a food hunt because we ate exceptionally a lot until we felt so bloated that we felt like puking and yes thank you so much for the treat at the top (: It will be my turn when you come to singapore again!

Taiwan day five

Took a gondola up to maokong station

Adorable doggies everywhere!

Visited the zoo because my sissy wanted to see the panda and we didn't stay there for long as the weather was so humid that we couldn't stand it and decided to head to our new hotel instead!

Hello we are the pandas!

Sato castle hotel has different themes but we didn't manage to get those themes we wanted because they have limited room left thus we chose the bali theme. It wasn't out of the world but I really love that there's jacuzzi and a tv in the bathroom and the bathroom is almost as big as the bedroom!

Healthy and delicious food to fill our hungry tummies

Night view at miramar entertainment centre and it's neighbourhood

Day five was really peaceful as we managed to get away from the bustling ximending to an extremely quiet and rather high end town in taipei. Mom flew back to singapore during the evening while sissy and I had three more days to spend at taiwan, stay tuned for the next post :>
