First of all, happy birthday singapore! Although I'm no where near being patriotic and showing all the great love I've for singapore, I'm still very glad that I was born in this small but clean and green city where it's so safe that you don't have to worry about almost everything except hmmm the standard of living maybe?
Well, let's proceed on. Had my weekly brunch affair and cafe hopping with GJ last weekend at this quaint little cafe at evans lodge. This was only my second time visiting this area, first was about two years back when I had hatch with my girlfriends and yeap second time here for this.
GJ ordered pulled pork burger ($14.90) and ice mocha ($5.50). Sorry but I can't rate how good/bad the pork burger is because I didn't try as I'm not a fan of pork neither burger. He commented that
it was so-so only, so it may be a miss?
And here's my share of goodness, scrambled eggs croissant with honey baked ham ($13.90) which appealed very much to my taste bud. I really love how the scrambled eggs are being cooked in a well done yet runny state with slight creamy taste which makes it almost perfect. Probably one of the best scrambled I've ever had.
Last but not least, all these comes in nett price and they are worth every penny :>
