Jamie's 21st

Mini marshmallow with white chocolate ganache pops!

The H&M girls (that's if you include gerald as a girl as well) haha!

Picture grabbed from her album because I didn't manage to take a pretty picture of her with her cake. I really love how enthusiastic her dad was on that day, being an emcee entertaining the guests and not forgetting the live keyboardist and singers! Happy 21st jamie, one of the dearest girls I'm glad I've met in H&M :>

On a third degree

I get these thoughts sometimes.

Who are those who really care and matter about you? Who are those who will shed tears and feel upset when you won't be around in this universe anymore? Where's the fine line between life and death? What's the purpose of your existence? Why is there a 'me'?

Do you, do you get these too?

Lady M Confections

All the way from US to singapore, Lady M Confections prides itself on creating the freshest and finest cakes and confectionary delights. Their cakes are handmade following recipes that have been refined over the years to provide the highest quality in taste and appearance.

Signature crepe cake ($7.50), twenty thin layers of crepe with delicious cream, probably one of the better ones I've tried!

Cheesecake pie ($7), can't remember the price clearly but it's around there. However I feel it's run of the mill, the cheese was too over infusing for my personal liking.

Happy girl is me :>

Rants and updates

Hi my dear readers, I recently realized that I haven't done a proper personal post for quite a long while so here it is, for those who are still interested in what have been happening recently.

Basically, those who have been really curious about my first year uni exam result...... I flunked it real badly thus I actually decided to withdraw from school (not officially yet though) and so I finally took the first step out to head for SIA interview after much hesitation and initial objection from my mom. To be honest, I didn't pin on high hopes that I could even pass the first stage due to a personal reason and that a friend of mine who always works for the recruiting event who said that, Michelle I don't think you've the SIA feel so I seriously think you can't even pass the first stage. At that very moment, I felt rather demoralized.

On that very fine saturday morning, I headed to concorde hotel alone for the interview. I was like a total lost cow because I don't even know where was the exact location but managed to get there after following a few people who dressed up smartly whom I presumed were going for the interview as well. After waiting for around half an hour, my group of ten went in for the first stage of interview and we were required to introduce ourselves within a minute and answer this question, 'if you were to be a celebrity, who will you choose to be and why?' I was so shocked but thank goodness I was the forth speaker and I kinda blabbered the introduction and the response to the question quickly. We were then being ushered out to wait for the result and not long after we were trying to mix around a little, the interviewer came out with some applications form and said, 'Five people pass this round, I'll call out the names who didn't pass and return the application form to you.' It went on and on until the last application. I was so nervous, hoping it won't be me and guess what, it wasn't. I PASSED THE FIRST STAGE!!!

Then the five of us headed to the second round which is the height test and that's when I got really disappointed. The last time I took my height, it was 159 cm and it was shown as 157.8 cm when I took it that day. It was real devastating because I didn't pass it just by 0.2 cm?!?!?!!!! Yes, some of my friends told after which that it's damn insignificant. It probably wasn't my day then but I'm definitely going to try for it again.

So...... if you do have any methods or secrets to grow taller be it exercising or eating whatever food etc etc, please kindly share with because this has been what I've been longing to get into. Till then, goodnight x.

Shall let the pictures speak today because my stomach has been a pain since last night and it isn't exactly getting any better ): And there will no longer be any TGIF for me due to piano lesson and work every single friday but it's okay, someday it will all be worth it. Goodnight folks!

Jakarta: Nanny's pavillon

This is a whimsical cafe located at central park, and all thanks to the 'unlucky' me who walked the wrong way and chanced upon this place to have late lunch at.

OOTD, polka dots x denim

Crazy chocolate waffles (39000 RP)

Mom's mushroom aglio olio with spices (45000 RP) and my bro kept commenting that the seasoning tasted like indo mee.

Sis' tuna baked rice (45000 RP) which she loved so much and I didn't like it because of the mayo.

Bro's grilled chicken platter (69000 RP)

I wouldn't say the food here are super fantastic but the prices here is really affordable, probably due to the exchange rate! We only paid approximately S$35 for all of these, including the big jar of blueberry cocktail (if you've noticed above), how is it even possible to have such reasonable price to dine in such a place in singapore?

More to come, till then x!
