Vs. Feelings

"Most days I'm contented with being alone but sometimes when I watch a movie or read a book that has a love story in it, or when I see lovers holding hands or kissing, I realize that even though I'm contented with being alone, I don't want to be lonely. I think what I'm trying to say is that it would be a nice to experience this thing called 'love' whatever 'love' is."

At the thought of school's gonna commence in a day or so, all the strange emotions are popping up. It's funny how I used to be someone who always anticipate in getting to a new environment and making new friends but right now, I think I'm the total opposite. I'm starting to abhor adapting to a new environment, knowing that I may be alone in class because it's a uni life in uol, some of them attend lecture classes and go home or whatsoever, okay I shouldn't say some but most. I may be just one of them, sadly.

On another hand, I'm getting so vexed over the uol portal registration because most of my friends have received the user and password to login but I haven't! This is making me seriously so worried and at the back of my mind thinking, wts why do I have to repeat the phase of being a new student again?

But on a happier note, I should be really thankful that my best friend and I are taking the same accounting class together on the long and dreadful tuesday which I won't elaborate much now, you'll know the reason soon. Hopefully I'll get to see the several favourite people in school though different courses/classes, they will probably make my day better.

Pardon me, I tend to be a pessimist at times.

Taiwan day two (part two)

A coutinuation from the previous post for day two in taiwan.

After a hot afternoon spent at xinbeitou, we proceeded to danshui which is quite near, about five mrt stops!

Very nice but sinful quail eggs! Mom told us that the cholesterol for a quail egg is equivalent to three chicken eggs omg :O

Finally got to try the 25 cm tall ice-cream!

Settled down at a random small stall for late lunch as we were quite hungry, ordered danshui ah gei (dong fen being wrapped in tofu skin), fishball soup and lu rou fan (braised pork rice). Apparently, it's one of the best meals I had in taiwan!

The only naraya shop in taiwan but it's definitely not as cheap as bkk!

At the fisherman's wharf

Breathtaking scenery of lover bridge and I really love danshui, definitely the best place to relax, discard all the problems and enjoy the sea breeze.

Taiwan day two (part one)

Getting ready to head out to a pretty far away place in this city and yes I've skipped the hotel breakfast to sleep more, knowing that it's gonna be another long day while mom and sissy had breakfast and bought me herbal egg to fill my tummy first!

Here we go to......

The place well known for its hot spring!

The train is super adorable and its interior gave us a surprise because it ain't like any other trains but told us about the tourist spots at xinbeitou!

My mom loves to take picture more than my sissy and I do! She kept going, 'help me take picture, quick help me take!'

Xinbeitou library which we didn't get to go in

Went to pay a visit at the hot spring museum and I stood at a corner while waiting for my mom and sissy to explore the place because it was way too hot and I was perspiring till the extent that I didn't want to move at all and if you can't take singapore's weather, don't even think of going taiwan during their summer or near end of summer period! It was near 35 degree celsius almost everyday.

Yay finally some desserts to kill the heat! Tau huay with tang yuan, lian zi and jelly and mixed fruit snow ice yummy! :B

Will continue with the next part soon (: Stay tuned!!
