Our first breakfast in budacco - ham, chicken sausage, sunny side-up, fried rice, potato and orange juice. I always love hotel breakfast :>
View from the road outside our hotel.
Somewhere near pratunam market
Lynette and her new tee!
One of the random stalls inside pratunam market
Headed back to the hotel in the early noon since it was raining and we decided to take a quick rest before second round of shopping.
Met the guys, zhiyu and zhijie!
So unglam zhijie
Nice shot by zhiyu but credits to the room hehe
Some dunkin's for you? :B The mochi donuts are really superb, probably the best donuts I've ever tried!
Settled down for dinner at central world's sizzler for salad bar, free flow of salad for us! Sadly we didn't get to try the chocolate mousse as we've forgotten, yeah what a reason, we were too exhausted that we actually forgot!
Everyone got one for ourselves except jethro, blue one for me! It costs only 250 baht = 10 sgd!
On the tuk tuk back to the hotel and lynette was so scared since it was her first time taking it plus the fact that this tuk tuk driver is a little crazy? Like he will totally jerk the tuk tuk anytime he wanted.
This is the shirt which made all of us laugh our asses out as the boys didn't realize that there's printing at the back of the tees too! Zhiyu's trying to act muscular with his new 'fav' tee hahahaha.
Only then I knew what's swag means...
We've got da swagger! Fav picture of the night :D
Now he wanna act cute, goodness /facepalm/
Loots for the second day!
Places covered during the second day:
Pratunam market - Right smacked opposite platinum fashion mall and it resembles a little like singapore's bugis street but just that you've to purchase the items in three pieces or more since it's a wholesale market. Nevertheless, the wholesale price is definitely more worth it than individual or two pieces price. Most of the clothings which I bought cost around 110 baht each = 4.40 sgd, some are even cheaper like 70 baht = barely 3 sgd and nicer dresses/rompers which cost around 150-200 baht = 6-8 sgd!!
Platinum fashion mall - Items here are very much similar so those at pratunam market just that they are slightly more costly since it's a mall and it's air-conditioned thus the price may tend to be slightly higher. However it's better to get sunglasses here as compared to those in pratunam market and of course there are definitely several shops which sell exclusive pieces that you can't just find everywhere.
Central world - Can be counted as a high-end mall with shops like topshop, naraya, coldstone and etc. Didn't really walk much around here except settling down for dinner at sizzler and to shop at naraya!
MBK - A shopping mall with mostly guys stuffs and phone accessories but I've never really fancied this mall since the phone accessories ain't like real cheap. Most of them cost around 150-250 baht = 6-10 sgd which you can get at a cheaper rate in singapore.
Siam night market - It's a long road which stretches from the opposite side of siam paragon all the way to somewhere near MBK. Some of the items there are extremely pricey since it's a tourist spot. I guess you can try to hagger with them but all of us were too lazy to do so as it was damn crowded and humid.
Bangkok day three up next! (:
